There are always fun little events put on by the Ann Arbor Parks and Recreation. This event was called a Caterpillar Carnival. First the kids looked at caterpillars and learned about them. Next, they headed out into a field and tried to catch some with big nets. They didn't catch any caterpillars, but they did catch a lot of random bugs, spiders, and, best of all, a praying mantis!

A day outside looking for treasures, I am sure Papa would have enjoyed such a fun filled day! What a great find for Jacob and Brandon better than a caterpillar.
